From January 2021, Firefly will launch new ticket sales with three new Boeing 737-800 that will fly from Penang to Kota Kinabalu, Kuching and Johor Bahru with fares as low as RM79 and exclusive rates at RM69 for Firefly registered members one way!
Firefly Chief Executive Officer, Philip See said “We are thrilled to kickstart our 2021 journey with our new jet services from Penang, connecting Malaysia. We look forward to supporting the economic recovery of both the business and tourism industry. It has been a challenging 2020 for all of us in the travel industry and we hope these new services will accelerate the overall economic recovery in 2021”. He made the statement on 16 December, 2020 at Subang Jaya.
With Penang International Airport’s stand as a major Northern hub in airline, these routes can bring advantages to both business and leisure travellers as it will fly 2 to 3 times daily based on demand in various respective markets.
