Get ready to balik kampung in the most magical way possible! 🎶✨ Gangsapura proudly presents Kampung Ronggeng 2.0, returning on 4–7 September 2025 at the Experimental Theatre, ASWARA.
After a sold-out debut in 2023, this one-of-a-kind show is back — bigger, bolder, and more immersive than ever. Expect 14 original gamelan compositions, live movement, and an imaginative kampung-inspired setup that puts you right in the middle of the story.
Step Into the Story
Forget the usual concert seating — here, you’re part of the kampung. Audience members are encouraged to dress as “Orang Kampung”, mingle freely in the space, and even influence how the performance unfolds.
“This is more than a concert,” shares Music Director Teuku Umar Ilany.
“It’s a living kampung recreated through music, movement, and story — and the audience is part of it.”
