The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) is rolling out its “Merdeka Daripada Scam” campaign with the hashtag #KWSPAntiScam, sending a clear reminder to all Malaysians: don’t let fraudsters steal your hard-earned money and retirement dreams.
Scammers today are slick. They don’t just knock on your door — they call, they message, they lure you with promises that sound too good to be true. Too many have already lost their savings.
The EPF is taking a stand to say: enough is enough. The Merdeka Daripada Scam campaign is not only about warnings, but about empowering everyone to spot the traps, stay alert, and protect our future. It delivers a firm message in an engaging and relatable way.
From 31 August to 16 September, the Merdeka Daripada Scam Roadshows will bring the campaign to life across 13 hotspots in the Klang Valley. Expect to see them at the National Day Parade in Putrajaya, Avenue K, Lotus Ampang, Mydin USJ, Pasar Seni, PPR Subang 2, and even at the Keretapi Sarong Festival.

Scam simulations that make you think twice. Quizzes to test if you can tell what’s real and what’s fraudulent. Verified information straight from the EPF so you’ll always know where to turn to. And the Merdeka Daripada Scam truck featuring the highlight challenge: the 30-second flying money grab.
Step inside and you’ll feel just how fast money can slip away when you trust without checking.
To keep the momentum going, the EPF is also collaborating with key opinion leaders, including Rahmat Fitri Abdullah, Mekyun, Reina Lum and Zubir Khan. Because scams don’t just hit one person; they ripple out, affecting families, friends, and entire communities.
