The return of Malaysian celebrity chef Datuk Chef Wan aboard Star Voyager for a special three-night cruise from Port Klang to Phuket and Penang from May 22 to 25, 2026, according to StarCruises company.
The company said the sailing was introduced following an “overwhelming response” earlier this year, with the upcoming voyage timed to coincide with the local school holiday season.
“StarCruises is excited to welcome back Malaysia’s beloved celebrity chef, Datuk Chef Wan, onboard the Star Voyager cruise ship for another unforgettable sailing,” the company said in the statement.
The cruise, organised in collaboration with Malaysian restaurant group De.Wan 1958, will feature a range of onboard culinary experiences, entertainment and family-oriented activities.

“We are thrilled to welcome Chef Wan back onboard Star Voyager after the incredible response from our guests,” the company said, adding that his return during the school holidays makes the sailing “even more special for families looking for great food, fun and quality time together at sea.”
According to the statement, guests can look forward to live cooking demonstrations by Chef Wan, alongside a specially curated menu to be served at The Lido on the final night of the cruise.
“Guests can look forward to an exciting live cooking demonstration by Datuk Chef Wan, where he will showcase his signature dishes while entertaining with his lively personality,” the company said.
The cruise will also include a dedicated halal dining section, as well as opportunities for guests to meet the chef during onboard sessions.
Beyond its culinary offerings, StarCruises said the sailing will feature a full range of onboard experiences including waterslides, ziplining, themed activities and live performances at the Zodiac Theatre.
The three-night voyage will depart from Port Klang, with scheduled stops in Phuket on the second day and Penang on the third day, before returning on the fourth day.
“Guests can enjoy a relaxing roundtrip journey from Port Klang to two exciting destinations, combining scenic experiences with vibrant local attractions,” the company said.
StarCruises added that bookings are now open via its official website and authorised travel agents, with promotional offers available for selected cardholders.
